The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA)/ Environmental Researcg
Laboratory in Narragansett Rhode Island/ has a need for a contractor to
provide a Mass Spectrometer System. Narragansett requires a system of
an inductively coupled plasma ion source to a mass spectrometer capable
of providing precise, rapid multielimental analyses of environmental
samples, including acid digests of waters, geological and biological
tissue samples, at concentrations below 10-100 ng/L. System shall
provide capability for analysis in peak-hopping or scanning modes,
qualitative/semi-quantitative analysis, and a variety of methods for
quantitation, including direct analysis, standard additions and isotope
dilution. System must also provide for determination of isotopic
ratios. System shall include a random access autosampler, a
self-contained recirculating water chiller and accessories to provide
preconcentration and separation of analytes from complex solution
matrices. All system components and accessories must be under computer
control, integrated within a single software package providing
complete quality control (QC) over the analyses and capable of
exporting all analytical data to a laboratory information management
system operating on an external local area network (LAN). (0039) Loren Data Corp. http://www.ld.com (SYN# 0395 19950209\66-0002.SOL)
