The contractor will be required to provide labor and necessary tools to install workstations, pull cables, test and terminate work- stations from the existing RJ45 (or RG-62) faceplate. The cable used shall be plenum rated, Type 1 cable (shielded twisted pair). HUD will provide cables and workstations. The cables shall be installed in compliance with specifications for the Token Ring, Type 1 Network Cable Operations. Prospective bidders are encouraged to schedule an on-site visit to inspect and/or survey the site before submitting a bid. Solicitation packages will be issued on or about March 02, 1995, and will be closed on April 06, 1995. Bid opening date is April 06, 1995, at 2:00 p.m., local time.
