B -- PREPARATION OF DRAFT PUBLIC HEALTH SERVICE, INFLUENZA PANDEMIC PREPAREDNESS PLAN SOL 95-94(Q) DUE 022195 POC Contact Johnnie Thomas at (404)842-6766 The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, National Center for Infectious Diseases, Division of Viral and Rickettsial Diseases is seeking a qualified person to prepare a draft Public Health Service, Influenza Pandemic Preparedness Plan. Duties to include: Organizing meetings; coordinating efforts among cooperating agencies; collecting subcommittee and individual contributions; editing text of the influenza pandemic preparedness planning document; monitoring and follow up to assure timely submission of individual reports and influenza pandemic preparedness planning chapter drafts; disseminating draft documents for internal and external review by experts. At minimum an applicant must have extensive education, training, and experience in public health, laboratory sciences, management, editorial experience related to public health and scientific publication and participation in previous interagency initiatives are necessary for coordinating the draft of an Influenza Pandemic Preparedness Plan for the United States. This is not an RFP and the Government is not committed to award pursuant to this announcement.
