66 -- 66 - COST PER TEST FOR FLOW CYTOMETRY DUE 022295 POC Contracting Officer, Germaine E. Talbot, (410)605-7153 VAMC Baltimore, MD is seeking sources to provide cost per test for flow cytometry. Contractor to provide equipment, installation, reagents, maintenance, latest software and hardware, start-up, and training. The system must enumerate absolute numbers of CD4 positive T cells and CD8 positive T cells in whole blood. The systme must provide CD4/CD8 ratios,; must have a printer for result output, a self-contained system for sheath and waste fluids; must provide accuray, precision and linearity compared with standard flow cytometry technology; have a lower linear range of at least 15cmm; have an automatic laser alignment and calibration; must perform 20 tests in approximately 4 hours (prep time is not included); should have no special installation requirements; should operate off standard electrical power. The VA Baltimore performs approximately 80 tests per month. Cost should include equipment, reagents and controls required by regulatory agencies and maintenance.
