The Naval Research Laboratory has a requirement for a large polished, uncoated laser mirror to be used to at 248 nm. Material: Zerodur or substrate-grade fused silica, rear surface fine ground, no cracks anywhere in the substrate, no bubbles or inclusions larger than 2 mm in mean diameter within 1 cm of the polished surface. No bubbles larger than 8 mm in mean diameter anywhere in the substrate. Dimensions: 89.0 plus or minus 0.1 cm diameter, 14.5 plus or minus 0.1 cm thick.
