FAA has a requirement for a one year lease with four one year options
of a BEECHCRAFT BARON 58 with 1200 hours or less on the airframe and a
manufacture date of 1991 or newer, meeting the requirements shown
herein, on-call, without pilots, dry rate, with payment on a
''time-in-service'' basis, as indicated by a Hobbs meter which has the
capability of activating upon liftoff of each takeoff and deactivating
upon touchdown during each landing. The aircraft shall be U.S.
Register, have a currently valid standard air worthiness certificate,
and be maintained by the contractor (within a 50 mile radius of
Washington National Airport (DCA) Arlington, VA) in compliance with
Federal Aviation Regulations and the manufacturer's maintenance
inspection program, to include all annual and 100-hour inspections as
discussed in FAR 91.409. Inaddition, the condition of the aircraft
concerning such items as paint, upholstery, etc., not covered in air
worthiness regulations, must present a neat and clean appearance. All
aircraft will be subject to inspection by the FAA prior to contract
award. All potential offerors that responded to the FAA synopsis of
November 21, 1994 will automatically receive a copy of the
