Brown The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has a requirement to provide two eight-day classes not exceeding ten students per class on the Distance Measuring Equipment Operation and Maintenance Course. The eight-day courses will be conducted at contractor-furnished facilities using contractor-furnished equipment (FAA Crs 48196). The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) Code is 8299. These services are only known to be available from Airport Systems International, Inc., Overland, KS, because systems are technical and require diagrams, prints, and design documents. The FAA does not have proprietary rights to the documents necessary to allow full and open competition. Other concerns having the ability to furnish the above property/services are requested to give written notification (including the name and telephone number of a point of contact) to the procuring office listed in this notice, with reference made to market survey file # 60-5-16188, within 45 calendar days from the date of this publication. Responses should provide information regarding the ability of your concern to satisfy the Government's requirement. All responses to this market survey will be considered prior to further acquisition action by the Government. Any information received as a result of this announcement will not be provided to other contractors and will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
