Restall, Contract Specialist, (716) 879-4251 This contract covers all required subsurface exploration services for Buffalo District for a one-year period, including, but not limited to: drilling and sampling of soil, rock and concrete, from both land-based plant and water-based plant; disturbed and undisturbed sampling; field shear strength tests; excavation of test trenches; rock coring; installation of piezometers, wellpoints, and monitoring wells; field hydrogeologic tests (water pressure, pumping, and permeability tests); environmental sampling (protective clothing in Levels A, B, C, or D; proper sampling, packaging and preservation of environmental samples; required documentation/chain of custody when applicable); and geotechnical engineers/geologists for logging explorations and performing required field sampling and testing. The Contractor will perform work under individual Delivery Orders issued by the Buffalo District. Work may be located on dry land, rivers, streams, lakes, and/or swamps. Geographic area for work under this contract to include the Buffalo District territory (portions of NY, PA and OH) as well as Mi, WI, MN and IL. See NUMBERED Note 1. (0037)
