R -- PREPARATION OF ANNUAL TRAINING AND EMPLOYMENT REPORT OF THE SECRETARY OF LABOR Sol. RFP-DAA-95-11. Due 041095. Contact, Olivia J. Thorpe, (202) 219-8698. The Department of Labor, Employment and Training Administration is soliciting proposal for the preparation of the annual Training and Employment Report of the Seretary of Labor. The report is required by the Job Training Partnership Act (P.L. 97-300) Section 169(e) and 169(d). Toward this end, the contractor shall perform the following tasks: (1) write, (2) edit and (3) prepare for publication of the annual Report using facts and information provided by ETA. The content of the annual report consists of the following: The Secretary of Labor's policy message, a chapter which provides description of development in the individual job training and employment programs administered by ETA, a chapter which summarizes findings of research and evaluation projects funded directly by ETA, and two statistical appendices. The period of performance for this contract shall be for twelve (12) months from the date of execution of award documents with three 1-year options at the discretion of the government. Requests for proposals (RFP's) will be available upon written request only, approximately 15 days after date of publication on a first come, first served basis, while the supply lasts. Telephone or FAX requests will not be honored. For requests made after the supply is exhausted, the Contracting Officer may determine whether payment of a fee is warranted. The fee will not exceed the actual cost of duplication of the solicitation document. Closing date for receipt of proposals will be on or about March 20, 1995 at 2:00 p.m. local time. Requests must cite RFP-DAA-95-11 and must include (2) self-addressed, gummed labels. Failure to enclose labels may cause delay in receipt of solicitation. This is a 100% small business set-aside.
