The Government intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) for the Upgrade of the Global Positioning System (FPS) for the Test and Expermentation Command (TEXCOM) Intelligence and Electronic Warfare Tess Directorate at Ft. Huachuca, AZ. The upgrade will consist of the following: Upgrade/Modification of the GPS Base Station; Upgrade of the GPS System Data Processor; Upgrade/Modification of 15 GPS Remote Reciver/Recorders; Provide Four (4) Data Link Relays with power sources; Upgrade of Differential Processing/Operating Software and Technical Manuals for 10 GPS Remote Receiver/Recorders; Provide one (1) OFf-Line Differential GPS Data Processor; and Initial Installation and Training for 20 Operators. The requirement will include options for five (5) additional Data Link Relays and 85 additional Mobile Reporting Units. The performance period is sixty (60) days.
