Headquarters, U.S. Marine Corps has a requirement for Charter Bus
Service for transporting Marine Barracks Personnel at 8th and I Streets
S.E., D.C., to the Iwo Jima Memorial and then conduct a shuttle from
the Visitor's Center parking lot at Arlington Cemetary to the Iwo Jima
Memorial. Following the parade the buses will conduct a shuttle from
the Iwo Jima Memorial back to the Visitor's Center and then transport
Marine Barracks Personnel back to the barracks. These services will be
required every Tuesday evening for the period 30 May 1995 through 22
August 1995. Additionally, the Marine Corps has a requirement for
transporting civilian guests from the Washington Navy Yard parking lot
to the barracks at 8th and I Streets and back to the Navy Yard
following the Parade. These services will be required every Friday
evening for the period 5 May l995 through 25 August 1995. The
Government reserves the right to award by item when the Contracting
Officer determines that it is advantageous to the Government. Vendors
are required to be approved by the Military Traffic Management Command
and must be added to their Approved Carriers Providing Passenger
Transportation List prior to award of contract for these services.
Vendors with an interest in in providing the above services are invited
to submit a written request for solicitation document number
M00027-95-R-0005 to be issued on or about 15 February 1995. Written
