J -- PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE PROGRAM FOR TWO THERAPHAN COMPUTER SYSTEMS, ONE IS A COBALT MODEL T-780. SOL RFP691-29-95 POC Contact Point, Robert E. Kedney, (310)824-4358 The VAMC West Los Angeles intends to procure a preventative maintenance contract for two Computer Systems, one being a cobalt computer model T-780. The services shall include, but not limited to the performance of a yearly phgsical inspection of both computer systems and all service calls as required throughout the period of performance. The contractor will be required to keep both units operating at current manufacturing specifications. To accomplish that the contractor shall examine all power supplies, completly clean both units, perform a diagnostic of the streamer, floppy, CPU, disk, and complete an operational check of both units including the array processor. At the end of the yearly service, or service call the contractor shall furnish to the government a certification that both systems meet current manufacture specifications. The solication will be more detailed as to the program requirements. All interested vendors who want to receive a copy of the solicitation must submit that request in writing with their complete name, address, telephone number, and a point of contact.
