Work that will be performed under this construction contract shall be divided into two separate work packages. The following is a breakdown of the project work as it applies to the specific work packages: Work Package No. #1: Project includes: Modification of identified door hardware; Painting of identified equipment and areas; Repair of wall section displacements and cracks; Replacement of the entire metal roofing, siding, and insulation; Waterproofing and recaulking of the below-grade portions of the structure; Rehabilitation of water-damaged ceilings and walls; Readjustment of the existing air- conditioning provisions; Rehabilitation and modification of the facility storm draining and sanitary sewer systems to correct frequent water backups and unsafe conditions. Work Package No. 2: Installation of a new fire-protection sprinkler system. The procurement is open to large and small businesses. SIC code is 1541.
