This project involves a Requirements Contract to trap pocket gophers on reforestation units. Eradication will consist of using cinch gopher traps. Baiting with strycnine alkaloid poisoned oats will not be considered as a treatment. Award will be made against delivery orders as work is needed. Work will be done on the Snow Mountain Ranger District and the Burns Ranger District of the Malheur National Forest. Work to begin June 1, 1995.
