A -- PHOSPHOR SOURCE, HIGH SPEED LENS Contact, F. Lujan III, 505/844-5919, Fax 505/844-1921. Sandia National Laboratories has a need for a 1/1.67 (40x40 mm to 24x24 mm) lens. The specifications are as follows. The system configuration uses a phosphor source, high speed lens, and a CCD detector at image. The spectral range should be optimized for P20 phosphor, 500-650 nm, and transmittance greater than 75%. The lens shall also have transmittance greater than 40% over the range 400-550nm for possible use with P11 phosphor. The spectral weights are P-20 phosphor cascaded with silicon detector. Magnification, object to imageis 1/1.67 (40x40 mm to 24x24 mm). The object active surface is 40x40 mm, shape is flat, and the type of surface is a fiber faceplate, 6um diameter fibers. The active image surface is 24x24mm and is flat. Sandia will be issuing a Request for Information (RFI) to those responding to this synopsis. (025)
