Sources are sought by the Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division to provide an insulator material which will be tested and compared to a standard silicone ablative material for use in air breathing ramjet engines. An alternate insulator material which will be tested and compared to an Ethylene Propylene Di-monomer (EPDM) based material for use in solid propellant rocket motors is also desired. Materials which are in advanced stages of development are sought by this announcement from both US and foreign sources. The Government anticipates establishing two sources for each insluating material. Interested parties may submit a written request by facsimile to (619) 939-7510.
