This synopsis is issued to modify previously published announcements. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) Code for this solicitation is changed to 8744, Base Maintenance, with a size standard of $20 million. As the proposed aquisition is being considered for a 100% small business set-aside, all interested small business concerns should notify this office in writing, of their intention to bid the project as a prime contractor, as early as possible, but responses must be received by 15 February 1995. ALL SMALL BUSINESSES, INCLUDED THOSE WHO HAVE PREVIOUSLY REQUESTED A COPY OF THE SOLICITATAION, ARE REQUESTED TO RESPOND, IN ORDER TO DETERMINE THE LEVEL OF SMALL BUSINESS INTEREST. The response must contain a positive statement of eligibility regarding the firm's small business status, must evidence the capacity to obtain a Bid Bonds of 20%, a Performance Bond of 50% and a Payment Bond of 25% of the amount of the offer for the firm fixed price portion of the base year.
