COMMERCE BUSINESS DAILY ISSUE OF JANUARY 27,1995 PSA#1271STRICOM/NAWCTSD ADVANCED PLANNING BRIEFING INDUSTRY The U.S. Army
Simulation, Training, and Instrumentation Command (STRICOM) and the
U.S. Naval Air Warfare Center Training Systems Division (NAWCTSD) will
provide Briefings for Industry on March 15-17, 1995 at the Clarion
Plaza Hotel, Orlando, Florida. The program is designed to provide
industry with a better understanding of how the two commands operate
their organizations and long range research, development and
procurement projections. U.S. Army, U.S. Navy, and U.S. Marine Corps
commands which sponsor and employ training equipment will also provide
presentations on future initiatives. Presentations will include
STRICOM Overview; Acquisition Update; Instrumentation, Targets, and
Threat Simulators; Distributed Interactive Simulation; ARPA-Perspective
of STOW; Training Devices; Combined Arms Tactical Trainer; Joint
Simulation System; Foreign Military Sales; Logistics; Specification and
Standards; Army Research and Development; TRADOC Overview; Warfighter
XXI Campaign Plan; Force XXI Training Program; Embedded Training;
Instrumentation Support of Training; Classroom 21; Navy Competency
Alignment and Organizational Changes; Navy Surface Warfare Programs;
Navy Submarine Programs; Navy Battle Force-DIS Programs; Marine Corps
Programs; Navy Research and Development Programs; Naval Aviation
Programs; and several panels discussing Army, Navy and Marine Corps
