Thompson, (615)327-5315 The VA Medical Center, Nashville, Tn intends to lease a Modular Cardiac Cath Unit for a base period of 4 months with 2 one month option periods. The unit must be in place no later than April 7, 1995 and must be ready for use no later than April 21, 1995. The major components of the unit will consist of a single plane cardiovascular system with a multiaxis C-arm; the cardiac imaging system will have a 9 inch intensifier with a very high resolution video system; a progressive scan converter; digital disc recorder, and a heomdynamics monitoring system. The modular unit will have at least 700 square feet of interior space and will have a procedure room, control room, dark room, and equipment room. The unit will have an independent HVAC system and ready to connect utilities. The VA will provide all necessary staffing for the operation of the unit, following a contractor provided 5 calendar day training period to the medical center staff which must be completed no later than May 1, 1995. There will be a site inspection and pre- bid visit on February 23, 1995 at 2 PM in RM 1G134 at the Va Medical Center, 1310 24th Ave. S; Nashville, TN.
