of (1) Leadership and (2) Cultural Diversity for the Office of
Inspection and Control, U.S. Customs Service. These two training tasks
may result in two contract awards (one for each task). Contractor(s)
shall develop and conduct a total of 49 seminars at 21 Customs
pre-selected sites for each of the two areas of training. Each seminar
will be one-day with a maximum of 20 participants per session. The
objectives of the training programs are (1) to provide instruction and
awareness to Customs senior and supervisory inspectors in the air
passenger processing environment of the principles and elements of
leadership skills within the context of 1arge organizations with high
levels of stress and with high volume contact with the travelling
public; and (2) to provide I&C managers and supervisors with the
behaviors, knowledge and skills necessary to interact with a culturally
diverse workforce and travelling public. One year performance period
from date of award. This is a 100% setaside for small business
concerns. Only written requests for the solicitation will be honored.
This requirement was originally synopsized as RFP No. CS-93-061 on July
27, 1993 (Issue No. PSA-0896). Those concerns which requested a copy of
the solicitation pursuant to that synopsis will be placed on the
mailing list for this new solicitation and need not submit another
