DuBose, Contract Specialist, 301/415- 6578 The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) intends to negotiate on a competitive basis for office assistant labor services (administrative services) for its Technical Training Center located in Chattanooga, Tennessee. The contractor shall be required to provide the necessary personnel to perform administrative support services such as mail distribution; xeroxing of documents; maintenance of files and records; clerical support, to include but not limited to, receiving phone calls and referring them to the appropriate personnel; and providing library support services, to include but not limited to, document filing, and maintenance of periodicals and technical reference materials. In addition, the contractor shall be required to type correspondence such as letters, memorandums, reports, tabular or statistical material and administrative forms using automated data/word processing applications. Contractor personnel must be proficient in the use of word processing programs, such as WordPerfect for DOS, MacIntosh, or Unix, as well as a working knowledge of data base programs such as Filemaker Pro and spreadsheet programs such as Excel or Lotus. Contractor personnel must also possess a proficiency in typing of 40 words per minute with no more than 3 errors. The administrative services required shall be performed Monday through Friday during the hours of 7:30 a.m. until 4:15 p.m., excluding federal holidays. The period of performance for this effort is five years. This proposed procurement is under a 100 percent small business set aside. The size standard for this solicitation is average annual receipts of $3.5 million over the past three years as set forth under Standard Industrial Classification 8741.
