Atkins, 205-955-5103. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Huntsville
Division (CEHND) Directorate of Information Management (IM) is
responsible for providing information management area (IMA) support for
the Huntsville Division of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. The
general requirements include (1) support of CEHND-IM projects and
initiatives in the sustainment, operation, and maintenance of existing
FIP resources; and (2) development, implementation, sustainment,
operation and maintenance of new FIP resources and enhancements and
upgrades to existing FIP resources. The tasks involved may include:
assisting functional personnel in conducting technology assessments to
determine future technology needs and applications, installing
necessary technology based on functional needs, analyzing database
design alternatives, optimizing utility and database software,
development of new and enhancement of current systems/subsystems and
databases, and administration of activities and programs associated
with Information Mission Areas (IMA). The work to be performed under
these contracts shall consist of furnishing all necessary personnel,
training, materials, services, equipment and tools necessary to assist
CEHND's Directorate of Information Management in fulfilling
Information Mission Area (IMA) support requirements, as defined in Army
Regulation 25-1, Section 1-4. The Contractor shall provide skilled
personnel support necessary to meet the requirements of each Delivery
Order. Resumes for persons available for work under this contract shall
be included in the Contractor's technical proposal. The Contractor
shall describe in its personnel resumes, as a minimum, the years of
recent professional experience in: (1) Fourth-generation language(s),
(2) Unix, MS-DOS and/or VM/XA operating environments, (3) support of
processing applications in a real-time environment, (4) working
familiarity in using personal computer and communications software
packages in conjunction with remote mainframes, (5) familiarity with
forms and record-keeping, (6) ability to assist in the maintenance of
a library, (7) working familiarity with graphics software, (8) working
familiarity with LAN and WAN concepts, (9) working familiarity with
the principles of software engineering and configuration management,
with or without CASE tools, (10) Database management systems (11) C and
C++ Language, and (12) familiarity and ability to use Federal, DOD, and
Corps of Engineers regulations and procedures in all appropriate IMA
disciplines. Directorate of Information Management (IM). Response

is 7379. For purposes of this acquisition, any firm whose annual
receipts over the last 3 years average less than $18 million is
considered a small business. Only written requests for the request for
