Boom Boat, 1 ea. Must be able to tow at least 1,500 feet of class II
containment boom without strain. The vessel should have enough storage
space on deck to stage at least 100 feet of class I boom. Boat's hull
and prop system strong enough to withstand being driven up onto rocky
beach. Must have movable davit system capable of lifting at least
1,000 lbs on deck. Must be capable of speeds up to 20 knots. LOA-25 to
28 feet, width no greater than 10 feet; vessel construction aluminum;
power-2 inboard diesel engines; 1-4'' wide drop bow; 1-large work
platform at water level off stern; 1-set of heavy duty knee walls at
bow; full encloswed operator's house with base set radio; power
steering, etc.; 3-4 large spotlights for night operation. Inspection
and acceptance: destination. FOB destination Manchester Fuel Depot,
Bldg. 1, Fleet & Industrial Supply Center, Puget Sound, Manchester, WA.
Delivery time: 60 DAC. This is a 100% SBSA. All responsible sources may
