Scope of work consists of but is not strictly limited to providing all labor, material, equipment, and supervision as necessary to install emergency lighting in Judge's Chambers and Courtrooms in the EMD Federal Building. Provide integral battery packs to be retrofitted into existing lighting fixtures. Provide remote LED test lamps for battery packs. Make necessary wiring changes to existing lighting circuits to wire emergency fixtures ahead of the existing wall switch. All work shall be performed after hours. The building contains sprayed on asbestos fireproofing. All work above existing suspended ceiling shall be considered to be work in an asbestos environment. Asbestos control procedures will be required. The completion time for this project is one hundred twenty (120) calendar days from receipt of notice to proceed. Estimated cost range is between $25,000 and $100,000. Specifications will be available on or about February 15, 1995. Sealed bids will be opened publicly on March 16, 1995, at 2:00 PM (local time). The proposed contract is being solicited on a total Small Business Set-Aside basis. Bids are solicited only from small business concerns. Bids received from concerns that are not small business concerns shall be considered nonresponsive and will be rejected. Standard Industrial Classification Code is 1542 with an average gross revenue of $17 million for the last three (3) years.
