The work consists of cleaning and painting the entire exterior and part of the interior of the vessel and performing repairs to the hatches, safety rail and performing various hull and mechanical repairs. The vessel is located for inspection purposes at the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Albany Field Office, Foot of Bond St., Troy, New York. The contractor is responsible for the transportation of the vessel to his/her repair facility from the location stated above and for its return to that location except the Government will transport the vessel by water to a contractor facility located not more than 175 statute miles from the above location and return it by water therefrom.
