This requirement is for the acquisition of a scanning probe microscope (SPM). The SPM is required to be a multi-mode platform that performs scanning tunneling microscopy, contact atomic force microscopy, non-contact atomic force microscopy tapping mode, lateral force microscopy, magnetic force microscopy, force modulation and elecctric field microscopy in ambient air. Additional specifications are included in the Request for Offer (RFO)5-02686/069. The offer due date will be established when the RFO is issued. This procurement is being conducted under the NASA/GSFC Midrange Pilot Test Program which is reserved for small businesses.
