The Kansas Army National Guard (MATES), Fort Riley, Kansas requires a contractor to furnish and install a Transmission Test System and Dynamometer. The test system shall be capable of testing the following transmissions: Allison Automatics, General Motors-THM400, General Electric-HMPT-500-3, Caterpillar, and manual shift in-line. Capable of delivering 0-8000 ft-pounds, input speed 0-4200 RPM, max. inertia of input not in excess of 5.4 ft-pounds-sec. System shall include a 550 gallon above ground vaulted diesel fuel tank for the power unit. Must have a microcomputer-based data acquisition, storage and display system. The Dynamometer system shall be caoable of testing the following engines: Avco Lycoming-AGT 1500-C, Continental-AVDS 1790 M60 Series, LDS and LDT - 465 truck, 2 1/2 ton series, Caterpillar 3406 DITA, 3306 PCT, 3304 DIT, and D332, Mack - ENDT 673, Daimler Benz - OM 352, John Deere-ID410, JI Case-A504BD, Detroit Diesel, Cummins, Allis Chalmers, General Motors, Briggs and Stratton Engines. Dynamometer shall be the waterbrake absorption type.
