Command (NAVSEA) intends to extend the period for issuance of orders
under Basic Ordering Agreement N00024-92-G-6511 through 30 January
1996. Orders issued under Basic Ordering Agreement N00024-92-G-6511
with Raytheon Equipment Division, Portsmouth, 1847 W. Main Road,
Portsmouth, RI 02871, are for materials and engineering services for
engineering changes, and repairs to the Combat Control System (CCS) MK2
equipment and Raytheon Equipment Division, Portsmouth manufactured
components and subsystems of the AN/BQQ-5, and AN/BQQ-6 programs.
Orders will be issued to Raytheon to prepare and finish ORDALT
documentation, ORDALT related technical manual changes and training,
procurement, or fabrication of ORDALT material, and incorporation of
ORDALTS into the Non-Expendable Ordnance equipment for the CCS MK2
combat control system and associated shore sites. Orders will be issued
pursuant to 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c)(1). Raytheon is the developer and sole
producer of the CCS MK2, and Raytheon manufactures components for the
AN/BQQ-5 and AN/BQQ-6 systems. Raytheon is only company which possesses
the knowledge, experience, tooling, and equipment necessary to perform
the tasks described herein. No other supplies or services will satisfy
the Navy's requirements. Companies interested in subcontracting
