This synopsis hereby modifies the original synopsis, dated Jan. 13, for conference support. The FMS is seeking potential sources for CONFERENCE FACILITIES, not support. The conference facility shall be within the downtown DC area or within 8 miles of the Capital Beltway. The expected attendance at each one to three day conference will be 350 to 400 people. The vendor shall provide secure overnight storage for materials and be capable of furnishing audio/visual equipment. Parking shall be provided at no charge to the attendees and a Metro stop shall be located within four blocks of the site. All interested parties should submit information regarding their company and the company's facility to the above address ATTN: Ann Pavelek, Rm 115C, on or before February 3. This is not a request for proposal; however, if a solicitation is issued, no other synopsis will be publicized.
