J -- J -- PIONEER RPV SYSTEM REPAIR POC Contact, Christopher Rumsey, Phone (703)604-0903 The Naval Air Systems Command intends to negotiate and issue orders under Basic Ordering Agreement N00019-92-G-0087 with Pioneer UAV, Inc., Hunt Valley, MD for the supplies and services necessary to repair components and subcomponents of the Pioneer Remotely Piloted Vehicle (RPV) system. Pioneer UAV, Inc. is a joint venture between AAI Corportation, Hunt Valley, MD and IAI Malat, Tel Aviv, Israel. AAI and IAI are the developers and sole suppliers of the Pioneer equipment. Therefore, Pioneer UAV, Inc. is the only firm possessing the requisite technical expertise and data to maintain the operational capability of the Pioneer RPV system within the timeframe required.
