This requirement is for the delivery and acceptance of fixed value attenuators to attenuate the input data signal to the DECADE UDAS. These attenuators must be coaxial type with type N jack and plug connectors and bi-directional. Characteristic impedance must be 50 ohms. The bandwidth must be dc-1000 Mhz with a flatness better than 0.3 dB. The power rating must be 2 watts continuous and up to 1000 volts at 1 microsecond duration. Fixed values of 3, 6, 10, and 20 dB are required with color coding. Delivery to Arnold Air Station TN shall be 2-3 months after contract award. The above bid opening date is tentative. Firms responding to this synopsis should do so in writing within 15 days after this publication, and shall indicate whether or not they are a small or small disadvantaged concern.
