17 -- REPLACEMENT OF ASW-33 FLIGHT DATA COMPUTER(FDC) FOR S-3 T/M/S AIRCRAFT POC Contact, SHERITA CROSBY-GRAHAM, Phone (703)604-2000 The government intends to procure a form/factor/fit/function replacement ASW-33 Flight Data Computer (FDC) for the S-3 T/M/S aircraft. The FDC provides autopilot functions for the S-3A, S-3B, ES-3A and US-3A aircraft. The government intends to award a sole source prime contract to Lockheed Aeronautical Systems Company (LASC), as LASC is the sole manufacturer of the S-3/ES-3 aircraft. LASC will procure and integrate a replacement Digital Flight Data Computer which will provide all existing flight control functions as well as enhanced reliability and maintainability.
