Materials and services necessary to expand the existing Government-owned Johnson Controls Metasys Energy Management Control System at GSFC/Wallops Flight Facility, Wallops Island, VA. This is a notice of intent to issue Request for Proposal (RFP)5-57054/615 on a noncompetitive basis in accordance with 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), ''Only One Responsible Source'', to Johnson Controls Inc., Norfolk, Virginia. Delivery to Wallops Island, VA is required within ninety calendar days after contract award. It is estimated that the RFP will be issued on or about December 30, 1994 with a closing date of January 30, 1995. All components shall be Johnson Controls DSC-8500 and Metasys, and must be 100% compatible with the existing EMCS. Johnson Controls is the designer of the required equipment and the design specifications and drawings are proprietary to Johnson Controls and are not available to the Government for solicitation purposes. Any other persons desiring consideration are requested to fully identify their interest and capabilities within 15 days of the date of publication of this synopsis to the GSFC Contracting Officer listed above.
