work includes the removal of: existing concrete block, gypsumboard
partitions, tile ceilings, suspension system, wood doors, steel frames,
hardware, resilient tile, carpet flooring, stairs with terrazzo finish,
ductwork, toilet room partitions, exterior concrete block, associated
foundations, exterior masonry walls, wood & aluminum windows, tennis
court, fencing, lighting, underground utilities, asbestos, lead, steel
frame fire escapes, all plumbing fixtures, associated piping, cast
iron radiators, lighting fixtures, power panels, devices, wiring,
exposed conduits, and all other miscellaneous items. There will be
provisions for new: site work, underground utilities, planting, wood &
steel doors, steel frames, hardware, vault door, rolling counter
doors, aluminum windows, gypsumboard partitions, ceramic tile floors,
resilient tile, carpet flooring, painting, and toilet partitions. Also
needed is an addition consisting of steel frame, brick & block
exterior walls, concrete foundations, concrete floors, metal deck,
built-up roofing, elevator upgrade for handicapped usage, fixtures,
piping, HVAC system, ductwork, plumbing, sprinkler systems, power,
conduit, controls, wiring, alarm systems, telecommunication system, and
any other incidental related work. Estimated cost range: $1,000,000 to
$2,000,000. The SIC code is 1542 and the small business size standard
($17.0 Million) are applicable to this contract. This proposed
contract is being considered for 100% set aside for SDB concerns.
Interested SDB should, but not later than 15 days of this notice,
indicate interest by providing evidence of capability to perform and a
positive statement of eligibility as a small socially and economically
DB concern. If adequate interest is not received from SDB concerns,
this solicitation will be issued as unrestricted. If you would like
