Contracting Officer, 415/329-4168. The U.S. Geological Survey has a
requirement for drilling services in the vicinity of the southwest
quadrant of Washington state from Oysterville on the Pacific coast to
Beverly on the Columbia river. Approximately twenty (20) holes, each at
depth of approximately 140 feet. The holes are to be nominal 8''
diameter (whether in hard rock or steel cased). The holes are required
for a seismic survey. Drilling is expected to start in July 1995 and
shall be completed by the end of August 1995. Material to be drilled in
will vary from sediments, including alluvium, to igneous and
