The Virginia Contracting Activity, on behalf of the Defense Intelligence Agency, intends to issue a delivery order against Digital Equipment Corporation schedule contract GSOOK95AGS5674 for renewal of software maintenance for the period October 1, 1994 through September 30, 1995. Software maintenance shall be for the following products: DEC and VAC Operating System Software. This Synopsis is a notice of intent and should not be considered an RFP. No solicitation document exists and requests for such a document will be considered an invalid response. Vendors who can provide the required services should submit documentation that demonstrates interested sources' ability to meet the Government's requirements and that it is advantageous to the Government to consider such other sources. Responses must be received within 15 calendar days of the publication of this notice. If a response is made, it must be in writing (Reference 462/0027Z/95). Vendors must include a facsimile number, if available, in their correspondence. Telephone requests shall not be accepted. If no affirmative responses are received within the stated time frame indicating that a comparable source is more advantageous to the Government, a delivery order will be placed against the GSA schedule identified above.
