Contractor shall provide all labor, material, and equipment necessary to construct the McConnico Switching Station (Stage 01). The work includes concrete, metalwork, excavation for structures, fencing, and removal of transmission lines; installing Government-furnished transformer, power circuit breakers, duplex switchboard section, station battery system, battery chargers, communication equipment, coupling capacitor voltage transformers, current transformers, wave trap and DFR duplex section; furnishing and installing disconnecting switches, station service transformer, ground system, conduit, conductors, bus system, signs, indoor dc and ac distribution panelboards, fiber optic communication system and microwave facilities; realign transmission line; install Government-furnished lattice steel towers; string new approach spans and connect to new take-off structures; remove existing conductors, overhead ground wires and lattice steel structures; and constructing new 61-foot by 40-foot service building. Unrestricted solicitation. All responsible bidders will be considered. Estimated cost of the project is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. Period of Performance: Project must be completed no later than January 19, 1996. Place of Performance: Mohave County, Arizona.
