Concerns are sought who have the ability to provide residential community corrections facility(s) and services for male and female offenders. Interested parties are requested to give written notification (including telephone number and point of contact) to the Contracting Office listed in this notice. Services required inlcude care, custody, accountability, treatment and furnishing of subsistence and medical services, except the expense of hospital, surgical, prescriptions, and dental treatment. The services shall be in accordance with the Bureau of Prisons' Statement of Work. Location of the facility shall be in the geographically-defined area of Salt Lake City and Ogden, Utah. The geographic district incorporating the Greater Metropolitan Salt Lake City, Utah area is more precisely defined as follows: North: 2200 North Street to Salt Lake County Line. West: 4,000 West Street to Interstate #201. South: Interstate #201 to 21st Street South. East: Foothill Drive to Salt Lake County Line. The geographic district incorporating the Metropolitan Ogden, Utah area is more prescisely defined as follows: North: Second Street to Ogden County Line/Cache National Forest. West: 3500 West Street to 5600 South Street. South: 5600 South Street to Cache National Forest. East: Cache National Forest to Ogden County Line. Contract Base Period is for two years with three one-year options to renew. Estimated total number of mandays for the Base period is 20,440 males and 6,570 females. Estimated total number of mandays for Option Years One, Two and Three is 10,950 males and 3,650 females, respectively. Estimated RFP issue date is February 13, 1995. Estimated RFP closing date is April 12, 1995. A requirements contract is anticipated. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by this agency. (0012)
