The USDA, Food and Consumer Service intends to procure from the New England Technology Group, Inc. the services to enhance proprietary interactive video software developed expressly for the Women, Infant and Child Care (WIC) program. The contractor will be responsible for two enhancements to existing software. One enhancement will involve the design and production of a new topic module that (a) builds upon current modules and (b) can be fully integrated into the existing software package. The other enhancement will involve the redesign of an existing module. The enhancements produced by this contract will allow the Agency to meet both programmatic and research needs. The estimated level of effort is .30 person years over a period of 4-1/2 calendar months. A Fixed Price type of contract is anticipated. This synopsis is a notice of intent and should not be considered an RFP. Written responses must be received within 15 days of this announcement and shall include sufficient documentation to establish a bona fide capability to satisfy the stated requirement.
