The Diplomatic Telecommunications Service-Program Office is conducting a market survey to determine if manufacturers or suppliers exist to provide engineering, technical and maintenance support in the following areas. If not, a contract will be awarded to Motorola, Inc. The support areas are as follows:(1) Provide systems engineering and technical assistance to integrate the CANEWARE E-3 system into the DTS network; to supplement the staff, on an as needed basis to integrate the CANEWARE E-3 system during the critical Pilot Post Program and follow-on implementation; provide software and hardware maintenance for all CANEWARE components.(2) Provide systems operations and maintenance training for the CANEWARE End-to-End Encryption system to include the hardware, software and system interfaces. Supplier will not be involved in operational responsibility for the development and installation of the DTS-PO network systems, PBX or on site preparation, but will be responsible for assisting and reviewing the work of other contractors and government personnel dealing with installation and configuration of the CANEWARE Front End (CFE) equipment at overseas locations. A solicitation will be issued if responses are received. Firms believing that they can provide the requested services shall submit a written response to be received at the contracting office no later than 27 January 1995, clearly showing their ability to provide the required services. Delivery should be 30 days after receipt of contract. Responses should be submitted to the Diplomatic Telecommunications Service Program Office, Room 351, 3920 Pender Drive, Fairfax Center, VA 22030. Responses must state that the vendor is not on the ''Parties Excluded from Procurement Programs''. All responses from responsible vendors will be fully considered. Oral communication will not be honored or acknowledged. If no affirmative responses are received by 27 January 1995, a contract will be issued to Motorola, Inc. (0011)
