The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center, Norfolk, Detachment, Washington, intends to issue a solicitation for acquiring 256 MB Central Storage for the HDS EX100 Processor, serial 11016, by means of a lease with terms for ownership. The lease to ownership shall be for thirty-six (36) months. The 256 MB Central Storage must: (1) be usable on HDS EX series processors models 60, 80, 90, and 100; (2) the memory must be usable as part of common central storage by a maximum of four IPs and four IOPs in a multi-processor configuration, by two IPs and two IOPs in a dyadic configuration, and by one IP and one IOP in uni-processor configuration; (3) the memory must support Extended Architecture and Enterprise Systems Architecture modes; (4) the memory must be configurable as expanded storage; (5) all memory boards must have the same part number and revision level; (6) the memory must be available within 15 days of contract award; (7) the memory must carry a warranty of a minimum of 30 days.
