Simulator Devices Systems (TSDS).--The TSDS consists of the following
five major components: Target Lifting Device, Hand-held Control Device
(radio frequency (RF) transceiver), RF Control Module (transceiver),
Sound Effects Simulator, and MILES (laser) Shootback Device. The basic
requirement is for 312 units of the Target Lifting Devices, 141 units
of the RF Control Modules, 19 units of the Hand-held Control Devices,
50 units of the Sound Effects Simulators, 90 units of the MILES
Shootback Devices, spares for five major components, standard one-year
warranty, 80 hours Training on TSDS less site set-up, support for one
Live Fire Exercise during January 1996 timeframe, and Data Items.
Priced option range quantites as follows: Target Lifting Devices 1 to
246 units, RF Control modules 1 to 195 units, Hand-held Control Devices
1 to 17 units, Sound Effects Simulators 1 to 232 units, MILES Shootback
Devices 1 to 174 units, Spares Option to support foregoing hardware
options and standard One-year Warranty for options quantities. RFP
