The Naval Sea Systems Command has a requirement for an additional 146 Acoustic Device Countermeasure (ADC) MK 4 MOD 0 and related data. The initial procurement of ADC MK MOD 0 was finalized under contract N00024-94-C-6158. This award will be made to Hazeltine Corporation of Braintree, MA. Hazeltine is the producer of all quantities of the ADC MK 4 MOD 0 procured thus far by the United States Navy. Only Hazeltine, as the developer of the ADC MK 4 device, currently possesses the corporate and personnel experience and associated technical design data base to properly perform this effort.
