53 -- FASTENERS SOL IPI-R-0281-95 DUE 120994 POC Contract Specialist, WHITEMAN, CHAD, 202-508-8500 UNICOR, Federal Prison Industries, Inc. intends to enter into a Firm Fixed Price, Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity contract for a period of five years with Economic Price Adjustments possible every 6 months to be shipped FOB destination to Allenwood for 14 line items of various fasteners to include: bolts, screws, nuts and washers to be used in the manufacture of furniture for UNICOR Allenwood's Executive Line. Estimated value of the resulting contract is $1,500,000. Estimated maximums will be established to indicate UNICOR's requirement and minimum guarantees will be established as 40% of the estimated maximums. Deliveries will be required 14 days after receipt of order. Shipment will come directly from vendor's established inventory. Contractor will have 30 days from contract award to establish minimum inventory levels established in the request for proposal.
