The contractor shall furnish all labor, transportation, equipment, materials, supplies, quality control, and supervision necessary to provide for the operation, maintenance and repair services for Dehumidification systems and heating, ventilating and air conditioning (HVAC) systems and components for Buildings C-54, C-3A (computer room only), C-3 (calibration lab only) for Magazines N1, N2, N3 and N4 at the Naval Weapons Station Earle. The HVAC systems include Barker Coleman controls. The resultant contract will be a combination Firm Fixed Price/Indefinite quantity type contract. All work shall be completed in strict accordance with the specifications. The Standard Industrial Classification Code (SIC) for this procurement is 1711. The size standard is $7,000,000.00. Estimated cost ranged is between $100,000.00 and $500,000.00. IFB's will be issued on/about 30 January 1995. The proposed procurement is being considered for 100% small disadvantaged business concerns (SDB's). Interested SDB's should as early as possible, indicate interest in the acquisition by providing the contracting office above, evidence of capability to perform (in-house capability and list similar projects completed by your firm) and a positive statement of eligibility as an SDB from the U.S. Small Business Administration. If adequate interest is not received from SDB concerns within 15 calendar days of this notice, the solicitation will be issued as unrestricted without further notice. Therefore, replies to this notice are requested from other concerns, as well as SDB's. Performance period will be 12 months from date of award.
