C -- ARCHITECT-ENGINEER SERVICES TO PERFORM TYPE ``A'', TYPE ``B'', AND AN OPTION FOR TYPE ``C'' SERVICES FOR PROJECT PTFL949564, FUEL CELL AND CORROSION CONTROL FACILITY SOL DAHA28-95-R-0002. The services shall provide for Type ``A'' services (site investigation), Type ``B'' services (plans, specifications and cost estimates) and an option for Type ``C'' services (constructions surveillance). The services will provide for investigation, design and inspection services for the construction of approximately 29,400 square feet of facility for KC135E aircraft fuel cell repairs and aircraft corrosion control with associated site parking, utilities and aircraft access ramp. The facility shall be an addition to an existing KC135E aircraft fuel cell. The project location is the 108th ARW, New Jersey Air National Guard, McGuire Air Force Base, New Jersey. Selection of firms for negotiation shall be through an order of preference based on demonstrated competence and qualifications necessary for the satisfactory performance of the type of professional services required. Selection criteria in order are (1) professional qualifications necessary for the performance of work-weight value 2, (2) specialized experience and technical competence in the type work required to construct an aircraft parking apron, weight value 2, (3) capacity toaccomplish the work in required time, weight value 1, (4) past performance on contracts with Government agencies and private industry in terms of costcontrol, quality or work and compliance with performance periods-weight value 1, (5) location in the general geographical area of the project-weight value 1, and (6) volume of work previously awarded by the Department of Defense, with the object of effecting an equitable distribution of DOD A-E contracts among qualified firms. The estimated construction cost of this project is between $5,000,000.00 and $10,000,000.00. Architect-Engineer firms which meet the requirements described in this announcement are invited to submit a completed Standard Form 254 and Standard Form 255 for this project. These forms shall be received within thirty (30) days of this publication to be considered for selection. These forms shall be provided to CPT Richard R.
