66 -- TECHMATE 500 IMMUNOSTAINING SYSTEM SOL 603-54-95 DUE 022395 POC Contact Point, Holly Meyerhoffer, (502)894-6114 The Department of Veterans Affairs, VA Medical Center, 800 Zorn Ave, Louisville, KY, intends to contract for the purchase of brand name or equal to the Techmate 500 Immunostaining System with incubator oven, UPS, and microwave. In accordance with FAR 6.302, the VA intends to negotiate a sole source contact with Curtin Matheson Scientific, 7383 Empire Drive, Suite A, Florence, KY 41042. The system must perform a full range of tests including prarffin and frozen tumor markers, in situ DNA hybridizations, cytospins, ER/PR and special stains all on one unit simultaneously. Offerors may submit information on comparable products. Comparable products will only be considered if clear and concise documentation is furnished. No solicitation document exists, therefore, requests for documents will be considered invalid responses. If no responses are received within 45 days after this publication, a contract shall be awarded to Curtin Matheson Scientific. See numbered Note 22. (0005)
