Work includes: Three areas of building; 1st floor, 3rd floor and basement. Removal of walls, doors, carpet, electrical and air-conditioning equipment. Construction of new walls, repairs to existing walls. Installation of electrical outlets, telephone outlets, computer cable and outlets, and A/C equipment. Replace ballasts and lamps in existing fixtures; replace damaged ceiling tile. Build 11' counter with glass window. Painting; carpet and wall covering installation. All work to be prformed at the Federal Building/Courthouse, 655 First Avenue North, Fargo, ND. Bid opening date is scheduled for February 28, 1995. Plans and specifications available after January 23, 1995. Requests for bid pacakges must be made in writing to the above Contracting Officer. Total time for completion is 90 days. Work to be completed during or after regular hours; however, noise must not interfer with Courtroom activities. Estimated cost range is between $25,000 and $100,000.
