The scope of work is for the modification of the existing 120 VAC power distribution system serving various ECF office areas. The objective is to provide dedicated power circuits for the use and protection of office personal computers. Prior to receiving an inquiry package, each prospective vendor shall provide written verification that the following minimum prerequisites can be met: The vendor must prove financial and technical capability to handle a job of this nature and magnitude. For on-site work, contractor personnel must possess a Department of Energy ``L'' security clearance. Each potential bidder shall have evidence that is has bonding capability from sureties listed in Treasury Circular 570 related to contract performance. Bid bonds, and Performance and Payment bonds will be required. All on-site work will be completed at a remote site located on the Idaho National Engineer Laboratory located approximately 60 miles West of Idaho Falls, Idaho. The performance period is estimated to be 180 calendar days after notice to proceed.
