providing labor, materials, equipment, transportation, and services
necessary for Converting Senior Officer Quarter to General Officer
Quarter by increasing living area to 2125 SF. Included in the project
are demolition of both interior and exterior components, added slab
areas, roof framing and sheathing, roofing, windows, electrical
modifications, interior partitions, ceilings, flooring, cabinets,
interior and exterior finishes, doors, and lead and asbestos abatement.
The project area is Bay Ridge, Keesler AFB, MS . Estimated cost of
construction between $100,000 and $250,000. Estimated period of
performance shall be 150 days. This action is being considered for 100%
set-asides for Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB) concerns. Interested
SDB concerns should notify our office, in writing, of their intention
to bid on the project as a prime contractor as early as possible but
no later than 06 Feb 95. This notification must include a positive
statement of eligibility as a small socially and economically
disadvantaged business concern, evidence of capacity to obtain required
bonds, and specific information which demonstrates the capability to
perform projects of this complexity and magnitude. Complete information
concerning management experience in similar work and financial status
should be submitted with references. If adequate interest is not
received from SDB concerns, the solicitation will be issued on an
unrestricted basis without futher notice. Therefore, replies to this
office are still requested from all interested business concerns as
well as from Small Disadvantaged Business concerns. Project
requirements will be made available on or about 14 Jan 95. All requests
for plans and specifications must be submitted in writing by letter or
